Disc harrow BPTD-4

Disc harrow BPTD-4 is designed for soil loosening, soil segregation by layers after plowing, for seedbed preparation without preliminary plowing, for soil treatment after harvesting tilled crops and cutting plant residues, for grassland farming.

Harrows may be used in different agro-climatic zones, on all types of soils, including those subject to wind and water erosion, as well as on the soils contaminated with stones with sizes not more than 10 cm and wood waste with thickness up to 2 cm.

The operative parts of the harrow are spherical discs ⌀650 mm which are installed at angles of 120, 150, 180 to the direction of movement, rolling a packer designed to compact the surface of soil layer.

Working width of the harrow is 4 m., processing depth up to 20 cm. To reduce the transport width to 2,5 meters, folding of batteries and rolling packers is provided.
