The machine for spreading sand-salt mixture mounted
MRS-500 is designed to disperse sand, salt and other anti-icing materials and anti-icing reagents on the surface of sidewalks and public roads with manual or mechanized loading.

The MRS-500 machine can be aggregated with tractors of traction class 0.6-1.4, depending on the volume of filling the hopper.

To ensure operability in real-world operating conditions and time constraints caused by extreme weather conditions, the machine is equipped with:

- a copying agitator with a gimbal joint, which destroys the possible arching of a wet sand-salt mixture in a bunker, in case of its storage in open areas and accessible to
atmospheric precipitation;

- a mechanical drive with a reinforced gearbox designed to work with a frozen sand-salt mixture loaded with lumps and small stones;

- devices for a wide range of dose control and dispersion sector due to the opening of windows in the hopper by flaps, rotation and number of blades of the disc thrower, as well as its rotation frequency.
