On July 17-18, a meeting of the Belarusian–Egyptian Working Group on Industrial Cooperation was held in Cairo (Egypt).
With the direct participation of Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Kharitonchik and Minister Plenipotentiary, Head of the Department of Eastern Europe of the Commercial Service of Egypt of the Ministry of Trade and Industry Mohamed Elsayed, issues of intensification of cooperation in the industrial sphere were considered.
The Belarusian-Egyptian working group included a representative of Bobruiskagromash holding, during whose visit:
Negotiations were held with regional representatives of the Agricultural Bank, the Association of Egyptian Exporters, the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of Egypt on the import of Egyptian components to the Republic of Belarus.
· discussed the directions of further work with the management of ECARD on the promotion of feed dispensers and bale balers manufactured by Bobruiskagromash to the Egyptian market. Also, the Egyptian side was offered a different range of equipment within the framework of the project for the development of new agricultural lands in Egypt.
· a visit to the new ECARD branch in the province of El Fayoum took place, where samples of reeds produced by Bobruiskagromash holding were presented.
· a presentation of the line of equipment produced by the holding was held for local farmers.
One of the main results of the visit to Cairo was the signing up a dealer agreement with ECARD, confirming the reliable partnership and bilateral cooperation of the Bobruiskagromash Holding with Egypt.
For reference: ECARD is part of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt (AVE), there are 72 branches of the company in the country, it is the largest distributor of agricultural machinery in Egypt.
